The Retrospective College Chronicles: (Prologue)

The fact that I have not written anything on here since the Bones series finale does not actually surprise me. Since then, I have been tied up with a lot of work for my final term of college. While I would really like to make the time to write more often, I know that some of the posts I have been delaying for a while will have to sit in my drafts a little bit longer. However, now that I have less than five weeks left until I turn in my final assignment, I thought that I would start prepping for a segment I have wanted to do for about a year. It is what I will refer to as my "Retrospective College Chronicle". I have decided to split it into five parts, (one for each year I have been in school) and focus not only on the subject matter that I learned during each year, but to also take the opportunity to look back at the other aspects of school and life that have helped me evolve. This will ultimately serve as a space for me to chronicle my own thoughts about school, and what I am hoping to do with my post-school life. If you are into reading something like that, then I hope you enjoy it. I am going to try to write a post every Monday from now until graduation! For now, this will just be a brief outline so you have a general idea of what to look for/ I have a way to organize my own thoughts.

Things that you will find in these posts:

1) Thoughts on the academic aspects of school, including things about my major, my decision to go to community college first, what being a transfer student has been like, etc.

2) The mental, emotional, and physical ramifications of college, for me personally.

3) The peer interactions and friendships that I have formed while I have been in school.

4) Things I have learned about myself in the process of going to school.

5) The things that I have been able to do and learn outside of the classroom setting, including becoming part of the literary web series community, other fandoms I have joined, and how it all connects back to my plans for the future, etc.

* For now this is just a general list, while I, A) work on my actual assignments for school, and B) figure out how I want to structure these posts, and how many details I am actually willing to share in a public space. I should have the first post up by next Monday!

2019 Media List

While I am usually pretty aware of how much TV I watch in any given year, (spoiler alert: it's always a lot) for 2019, I decided to actu...
